What we work on

  • Walk-in coolers & freezers

Installation, repair and custom builds. Compressors, evaporator fans, defrost problems, door heaters, gaskets and controls.

  • Ice machines

Repair, replacement and the preventive cleaning that keeps scale from shutting a machine down mid-shift.

  • Custom beer towers

Draft towers designed, built and plumbed for taprooms and bars, plus service on the glycol and cooling that keeps pours cold.

  • Reach-in units & prep tables

Reach-in coolers and freezers, prep tables and under-counter units your line depends on every service.

  • Rooftop & light commercial HVAC

Heating and cooling for storefronts, offices and restaurants, including rooftop units and replacements.

  • Service contracts

Scheduled maintenance for the equipment you can't afford to lose, so problems get found on a Tuesday morning instead of a Friday night.

When a cooler starts going warm

Most refrigeration failures give a little warning first. Catching it early is the difference between a service call and a dumpster full of product.

Signs to call about

  • The box temperature creeps up during busy hours and doesn't recover
  • Ice building up on the evaporator coil, or water pooling on the floor
  • The condensing unit runs constantly or short cycles
  • Door gaskets that are torn or no longer seal
  • An ice machine producing thin, cloudy or slow ice

What to do while you wait

Keep the door shut, check that nothing is blocking the evaporator fans, and note the temperature reading and when you first noticed it. If product is at risk, move what you can to a working unit. Those details help us diagnose faster when we arrive.

Why a service contract pays off

Dirty condenser coils, worn fan motors and failing door seals make equipment work harder until something gives. Scheduled maintenance catches those on our schedule instead of yours, and keeps your equipment history in one place.

Who we work with

Food service and retail businesses on both sides of the St. Croix, from Stillwater and Hudson to the smaller towns in between. The same people answer the phone whether you run one walk-in or a full kitchen line.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Call and ask. A real person answers.

Do you take after-hours refrigeration calls?

Yes. Our phone is answered 24 hours, 7 days a week. If a walk-in or freezer is losing temperature at night or on a weekend, call (651) 439-0578 and tell us what the box is reading.

Do you service equipment you didn't install?

Yes. Most of the commercial equipment we work on was installed by someone else. We repair all makes and models of walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines and light commercial HVAC.

What does a service contract include?

It depends on what you run. A contract is built around your equipment list and how hard it works, with scheduled visits for cleaning, inspection and adjustments. Call and we'll walk through it with you.

Can you build a custom beer tower for our bar?

Yes. We design, build and plumb custom draft towers for taprooms and bars, and we service the cooling side so the beer stays cold from the keg to the faucet.
